On Monopoly, NiQ commands the artistic firepower of some of Ohio’s’ best producers to deliver a rebellious sonic journey – one driven by his lyrical mastery and charismatic personality. Between it’s initial release and the arrival of his last project “BANGMYSH*T“, NiQ’s music has gained increasing exposure, and with his buzz currently at an all time high, the pair found the time was right to remind their fans of what started it all.

Highlights include ‘HNIC” NiQ’s club jam, ‘Darkness” a caustic warning to watch the country’s elite, and the rock inspired money anthem ‘Money on My Mind”.

So here’s the top secret update I’m sending out over the fiber optics. We here @ NiQ Music are working on a 8 city tour, with some of your favorite Ohio artists as special guests. Tired of burning cd’s or sending links to your friends to get them hip to NiQ? Soon you’ll be able to bring them out to a show near you.

  It’s the classic way to enter to the rap game. Get a job as a mortgage salesman, then lose it due to a recession and a collapsing housing market, then hit the studio. OK, maybe it’s not the standard way of entering hip-hop, but there’s very little that’s standard about NiQ. Abbreviating the term “unique” in his stage name, the Columbus, Ohio native makes both club-bumping tunes that will have you ready to party and mind-stimulating jams that may cause you to sit down and ponder a little. This versatility is one of the many reasons his name is no coincidence. Peep “HNIC” for the proof.
