(Press Release) – Apr 11, 2011 – Most twenty-somethings dream of becoming a success, and one day making their parents proud. NiQ, a twenty-something rapper, dreams of becoming a global music icon, and one day putting his neighborhood on the pop culture map. On Saturday, April 30th, NiQ will compete in the Seminfinals of the ‘Are You Radio Ready’ contest, sponsored by Pepsi and WCKX 107.5 Columbus . It’s a chance to finally get his hit single ‘Rocker’ onto national radio, and he’s looking to keep the spotlight once he has it.

The event headliner will be Cleveland rapper, MGK, on the first stop of his 2011 tour. As their true fans will know, this isn’t the first time NiQ and MGK have worked together. They together repped the ‘I Am Ohio’ mixtape, and performed last year at Al Rosa Villa. At that epic performance the crowd got a taste of what the future held for these two, and now poised for even greater success, their return to Skully’s it will bring it full circle for them and their fans. Cleveland has it’s new star in MGK and it’s time for Columbus to see that NiQ is their new star.

The MGK/NiQ event is hosted by Royal Columbus and will take place at Skully’s Music Diner, 1151 N. High St in Columbus. NiQ goes on at 9:50 PM, MGK at 12:30 AM. Tickets to the 18+ event are 10$ Presale and can be purchased at the following link – http://www.showclix.com/event/33472/
